TRANSPORT SERVICE TERMS What you are booking A private point-to-point transport service: an SUV with a driver, just for your group, that picks you up at the agreed place, date and time and takes you to the agreed destination. It is transport, not a tour: it does not include waiting at the destination, visits or a return trip unless you book them. What is agreed When you book, the origin, destination, date and departure time are fixed. Before the service we contact you to confirm the time and the exact pickup point; the service ends when you arrive at the destination. Changes of time or place are arranged in advance and depend on availability. The return trip Each leg is a separate service. If you need to come back, book the return as another transfer (same rate) or ask us for a quote: it is then agreed with its own date and time. Between one leg and the next there is no vehicle at your disposal at the destination or in the city. If you book both trips together (at the airport, the "Both" option), they are still two separate services, each with its own date, time, price and cancellation. Hourly service With the SUV by the hour, the vehicle and driver are at your disposal within Bogotá for the hours booked (minimum 3), with as many stops as you like. Extra hours are charged at the same rate. Parking fees are paid by you. Waiting time At the airport we track your flight: if it is delayed we wait at no cost. From landing we wait up to 60 minutes on international flights and 30 on domestic ones, the time for immigration and luggage. At hotels and addresses we wait up to 15 minutes after the agreed time. After that, with no word from you, the service is considered provided. Travel times and roads The travel times we show are approximate: they depend on traffic, weather, roadworks and road conditions. If a road closes (it happens, for example, on the Vía al Llano), we take the safe alternative or reschedule with you; if there is no way to make the trip, we refund 100%. Vehicle and driver We may provide the service with any vehicle or driver from our operation or from licensed partners, always under the same conditions: a comfortable SUV, a licensed professional driver, a valid FUEC and insurance. For more than 4 passengers, several SUVs are assigned. Luggage Each SUV takes up to 4 passengers, with room for 2 large suitcases and 2 carry-ons. If you bring more suitcases, bicycles, pets or bulky luggage, tell us when booking and we will arrange it with you; another SUV may be needed. Price and payment The price is in US dollars (USD), per vehicle and per leg (per hour for the hourly service), and includes fuel and tolls. It does not include parking, meals or entry fees. For the custom trip the price is the quote you accepted. You pay with the methods the site offers when you book (for example, cash on the day of the trip). Cash preferably in US dollars; if you pay in Colombian pesos, at the day's official exchange rate (TRM). When you finish booking, you see your confirmation and voucher on the site. On board Seat belts at all times. No smoking, alcohol or other substances inside the vehicle. We look after your belongings, but forgotten items are each passenger's responsibility; if something is left in the vehicle, we get it back to you. Minors Always travel with a responsible adult. The person booking must be over 18. We do not provide child seats: if you travel with babies or young children, bring the right seat for their age and the driver will help you install it. Protection of children and adolescents We reject the sexual exploitation and abuse of minors. It is a crime in Colombia (Law 679 of 2001 and Law 1336 of 2009) and offenders will be reported to the authorities. Who we are This site is The Private Exclusive Tour, an IT service based in Bogotá, Colombia. Transport is provided by a special ground transport company licensed in Colombia, with a valid FUEC and insurance. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under Colombian law (Law 1480 of 2011).
